The unidentified man was shot in the first block of East Maple Street Saturday evening, say police.
The man sought treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at York Hospital.
He arrived via a privately owned vehicle.
The hospital notified York City police at approximately 10:20 p.m.
